All my memories of Norman was as a kid. He was a happy pleasant boy whom was my mother's brother Glenn oldest son whom came home to visit in Apollo, Pa. Norman was six years younger then me, he played mostly with my brothers. I remember him baskically as a quiet, serious boy but whom played with my brothers. He had protective streak when it came to his sisters, just like a normal big brother.
Only recently did we get back in contact, & I am sorry I won't get to know the man better that he had become. I am glad he found Mary to make him complete in his last years.
Aunt Ruby, my mother Aunt Donna & I send our love to his family, we were sadened by his passing & will say a prayer for him & his loved ones.

In the early days of BMS, I quickly learned that software required testing to eliminate bugs before it was released to our clientele. It also became apparent to me that it required individuals with unique talents to effectively test software, or perform Quality Assurance (QA) as that process became known. Finally, I realized that it was virtually impossible to eliminate all bugs and that the best for which we could hope is to eliminate major bugs and identify obscure ones that did not affect the client’s experience.
This was a major problem until Norm joined us. He had that unique ability to test software, identify problems and work with the programmers to assist in their elimination. He would also support our Helpline staff when issues were reported. I recall Norm backing up his work to a personal hard drive and taking it home late one afternoon, something he undertook to do proactively because he knew it was the right thing to do.
Norm was a very personable and funny guy, especially considering his need focus on the technologically miniscule problems that he faced every day. One day I jokingly asked him if he had gotten rid of all the bugs in the software. Without hesitation, he replied that he had, but that they were programming some new ones right now. That became our standard repartee over the years: my silly question and Norm’s casually intelligent response. I will miss his friendly demeanor and the unassuming competence that he brought to BMS.

Mah, There are no words that can offer you and Norm's family comfort. I can only offer you friendship and all my love. I so enjoyed meeting Norm and your stories about his world and adventures. I loved seeing the smile on your face when you spoke of him. I am so very glad you had time with each other and so sorry it was not for much longer. May you be blessed with unbelievably happy memories.

I worked with Norm for the past 3 1/2 years and although he was quiet unless approached, he would always say hello when I passed him in the hall. I recently attended a work conference in Las Vegas and Norm stopped by just to say hello, make sure everything was going smoothly and see if we needed any help. He was very thoughtful and will be greatly missed.

what can be said at this time. i remember when they moved to vegas mary made sure to let me know that they got a extra room i am sure it was for any guest but i was told it was my room. it made me feel so welcome, Norms always been that way tho. always had that way to make people feel comfortable and excepted. i am sure we all feel the same because there is and was only 1 Norm and he will forever be missed. true and honest friends are hard to come by. norm was such a good example of one. i will forvever cherish the memories i have with my buddy norm, the trips to vegas all the days and nights watching baseball games and the visits he made to my house to visitw me and w brittania and the kids. norm was not just my friend he was considered my family. i will miss you norm.
