We liked Rhonda the first time we met her; I admired her success and aspired to be just like her and came to love her dearly. Rhonda was great at everything she did and in every relationship; it did not matter the role she played. She was a caring and thoughtful sister to my mother; a mother to me when I needed guidance and my best friend when I needed support. She and I would talk on the phone for hours, laughing hysterically while sharing our life stories; I will miss those times the most. Rhonda was the missing piece between my Uncle Warren and I. She brought the two of us together and kept us together over the years. She introduced us to Dwight and Marla; family we have enjoyed getting to know. Steve and I have so many fond memories of the times we have spent with Rhonda and Warren; memories we will treasure forever.
The most comical is Rhonda and Warren’s trip to Spokane in 2015. We had just purchased our retirement home in Spokane Washington and was re-facing wooden columns on our front porch with rock. Warren was the designer, Steve was the engineer and Rhonda and I were the workers. It was our job to mud the rock and place it as Warren designed. Not having any background in mudding or rock design and using the tools Steve had suggested we use, we drew from our experience with cooking utensils and how they just might work to get the job done. They did work and we let Steve and Warren know that we were not without own resources and patted ourselves on our backs! The project turned out great – we love it to this day. I have spent many days out on that porch reminiscing and laughing about it all over again.
Steve had mentioned to Rhonda that he would really like to go on a gold mining adventure. Well adventure is right up Rhonda’s alley. Before we knew it Steve, Rhonda and Warren were destined for Jackson, California. Rhonda was the first to rise each day – started the fire and made coffee. Once Steve was finally up, breakfast was on the table. With no modern conveniences, stories around the campfire kept them entertained and laughing. Steve remembers the area to be peaceful and tranquil. Rhonda shared with Steve then this would be where she would be laid to rest. We just didn’t realize how soon that would be.
Our sincerest condolences to Warren, Summer, Dave, Dwight, Marla and their respective families.

All of our love and prayers are to Rhonda's family. We have such great memories of the trips to Hawaii with Summer, Ryan, Maceo and Rhonda. Rhonda will truly be missed. We hope you may take comfort in her memory and knowing she is no longer suffering.

What a great 6 years to have this woman in my life. We've had quite a ride. My memories will always be followed with a smile to laughing out loud. then followed with a bit of a hangover. You will never be forgotten. Always love you.

I will miss you everyday, our morning talks while on my way to school or our evening talks on the way home from work. You were like one of my best friends and my second mom.... I wish I could just hug you one more time and tell you I love you and how much of an impact you made in my life. But I already know you know that, because you told me all the time how proud you were of me and how I am your Favorite Nurse! You will forever be in my heart and will always be one of my role models! Till we meet again.......
