Ma Pearl ~
Thank you for embracing our family as your own. I remember meeting you and Brother Bill for the first time at Mike and Sharon Land's home. We hit it off right from that fellowship. I'll always remember your smile, so genuine! We will keep your family lifted in prayer. You have left a footprint on my heart, and I miss you. Until we meet again ... you are precious!
With Love,
Hana

I met Pearl through my son
Brock and daughter-in-law Leda, and from the moment you meet her, you know right away that this is one of the sweetest people God can put on this earth. I still cant believe that when I come to Vegas I wont get to see her whipping up meals in the kitchen or hearing her sing along with the oldies that some on brought over. I hope God allows Pearl to be Pearl in heaven, they are in for a treat. Will miss you dearly.

TO: The family of Pearl
I was sorry and heart broken to hear about the sad news of Pearl leaving this world. I grew up with Pearl next door and I can remember many fun filled days of Pearl's laughter and worm smile. Although over the years as we become adults and begin our lives, by leaving home (Wasco) we loose touch with the ones we so closely knew when we were children and for one reason or another we grow far apart. I havn't seen Pearl in a while, but I feel the loss as you her family feels. With GOD, every day is a day to hope for the very best, to believe our prayers are being heard, to believe good news is on it's way, and that anything can happen between yesterday and tommorrow.
Good people will be remembered as a blessing...
Proverbs 10:7
Pearl was truly a blessing to all who had the plesue of knowing her.
Your're in my heart and prayers.
My GOD's Blessings be with all of you during this time of loss.

Just want to say how deeply sorry i am to Bill, Lenae & all of Pearl's family. The last thing Pearl said to me was right after she WON 1st place in the kids' school chili contest,I came in 3rd & I said, "Ok u might've won today but wait till next Halloween, I'll come in first for sure",& she truned around, and said, without missin a beat," Oh NO u won't!!" I thought that was a great answer. Hope G-d is blessing you wherever u are Pearl & I'm sure you're cooking up a storm wherever you are. May G-d bless you & your whole family, in this life and all that may folllow

What a friend we have in Jesus. All our sins and griefs He bear. What a priviledge it is to carry everything to God in pray. Lean on the everlasting arms for He will carry you through. I pray that God will comfort each and everyone of you during this difficult time and that the peace of God rest, rule and abide in you. Pearl was a a precious jewel and I'm glad to have known her and not because she taught me how to make those delicious rolls and oreo cookie pie to name a few, but she had a genuine spirit and a kind heart that I will not forget. Thank you Pearl!

It was our blessing to have experienced some of Mrs. Pearl's great rolls and her other treats for some of our FPB functions back in the day. Even George had to visit to get some food! Our prayers are with you and may your hearts heal in time. Continue to reminisce on the many lives Mrs. Pearl has touched.

Mom (Pearl), you have been such an inspiration to my life and have taught me so much. Your smile, warmth, loving and caring, mothering, getting on us in that sweet nice way, the lessons, the cooking, the joy, the games, etc will always be missed. You were so appreciated by me for helping me out in my life that words just can't express the love I have for you. Only God know how big of a space you have taking in my heart. You helped me become the woman that I am today with all the morals and values. For that I thank you. And most of all thank you and Bill for taking me under your wings when times were just uncontrollable. I know God is listening to you sing sweet songs in his ear and waiting to be served something good. Tell Aaron and Grandma Gaston Hello. I will always love and miss you.

You will be missed! Your Neice, Nisha

I was blessed to have a friend in Clay. And it was even more of a blessing to get to know you as I was a child. You were always so welcoming. Several talks we had about life and growing up while you were cooking in the kitchen (I kept close to my heart). Always smiling and so kind. Such an angel... You will be missed!

My heart and prayers are with all of the family. I was lucky enough to meet Pearl on several occasions. She gave me her recipe for those fabulous rolls, however I could never duplicate them. One day I realized why. Pearl put more then what was on that recipe card into her cooking and everything else she did. She put her love, heart, and joy into everything she did. She is a true example of beauty life love and soul. You will be missed more than words can express.

Pearl your name says it all, "one that is very precious." You were indeed a very precious lady. You had the ability to make EVERYONE who entered your home feel like a blood relative. You and Bill were indeed a very positive influence during my formative years. I spent so many holidays with you because had I not, I probably would have been alone. You always made me feel welcomed and loved. Especially, during a time in my childhood where there wasn't much love around me. You showed me at a early age what a Godly, committed faithful wife and mother looked like. Thank you for allowing God to use you. I hope that I too can touch the lives of as many young woman as you have. When you made it to the pearly gates I know the Lord said, "well done thy good and faithful servant." May your spirit continue to live in the lives of your children and grandchildren.
