Yoli has cut my hair for 15 years every 6 weeks or so like clockwork. She was always so warm, friendly and was always interested in what I had going on. She was so sweet to me and I will miss our conversations. In my younger days there were times I forgot money or didn't have any and she would still take care of me and just say don't worry we'll catch up next time. Just the best and sweetest woman you could ever meet. God Bless you Yoli and your family.

Dear Bill Holden and family,
The news of Yoli's passing sent shockwaves of sadness through Westridge Station. Many of us followed the facebook pictures of your life together, your travels, your places of celebration. Although we may never have actually met her, we felt like we knew her because you shared your life with us in the photos. The love was so obvious. Please accept our condolences and sympathy. So many of us want to embrace you and diminish your grief. Returning to life and 'normalcy' will be hard. Returning to us at work will not. We have a network if you need anything. May God keep you and your family in his gentle hands and soothe the pain you are feeling.
We Love You, Bill.

I will miss my visit with Yoli every two weeks. Like clockwork I would come by every Thursday (well almost), some weeks it would be Saturday. But that was the BEST thing about Miss Yoli, she was so understanding and accommodating with my appointment. She understood that things in our world would change from week to week, but with a smile she would always text back with an alternative day and time. It was always something I would look forward to, my haircut with Yoli. I would walk into the store and there she was smiling at me saying "come on down". We would chat about the things she did from the last visit, it usually consisted of her husband or her family. Always a trip planned to LA, which she would talk about so warmly, always looking forward to her trip. She would talk about how close the family was and how they would just love to get together just to hang out talk and spend time with each other. She would share with me the last restaurant she and her husband enjoyed or didn't enjoyed. She was quite vocal about the things they did right and of course what they did right. I would enjoy talking about nothing, about how people are, what weather is like, the next big idea she had to improve her house or store. I would mostly enjoy her genuine laugh at the things we would joke about. I am really going to miss my professional, kind, understanding, funny and enjoyable friend.
Yoli, Thank you for making me smile every time I would visit.
You will be missed.
