Obituary of Patrocinio Pagtakhan Ilangilang

Patrocinio "Eniong" P. Ilangilang, age 81, died Monday, February 23, 2015 in Las Vegas. Eniong was born November 5, 1933 in Bacoor, Cavite, Philippines to the late Nicolas and Belen (Pagtakhan) Ilangilang. He proudly worked for the United States Navy and United States Merchant Marines for thirty years where he received many awards including the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 5 stars, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, as well as Navy Unit Commendation for Meritorious Service During Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm/Desert Sortie and many others. During his free time, Eniong enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Carmelita Ilangilang; children Ria (Albert) of Lompoc, CA, Nina of Las Vegas, NV, and Judesis of Long Beach, CA; grandchildren Robby, Anthony, Butchy, Andrei and Alec Jude; sibling Luming, Linda and Peping of the Philippines and was preceded in death by son Jun. A visitation will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm with a funeral service at 3:00pm at Kraft Sussman Funeral Services, 3975 S Durango Dr., #104, Las Vegas, NV 89147.
