Obituary of Eleanor Madlyn Koppel

Eleanor Madlyn Koppel (nee Jacobson), age 72, gathered to G-d January 26, 2015. Beloved sister, wife, mother, and grandmother was born February 10, 1942 in Baltimore, MD. Eleanor was a former professional Adagio dancer who went by the stage name Ponie Maronie in Hollywood, Las Vegas, New York, Thunderbird to Thunder Bay. She was elected an official as well as Commended Citizen Crime Fighter in Los Angeles County. Eleanor also worked as an accomplished bookkeeper, newspaper reporter and land investor. She was a beautiful dancer and a real trooper. Eleanor lived a life full of accomplishment, adventure, and at times danger. She will be greatly missed and remember by her family and friends with love and respect. We pray that Eleanor will rest with G-d Almighty in comfort and peace. Eleanor is survived by her sister Roslyn, husband Marty, daughter Lisa and grandson Quinten. A funeral services was held on January 30, 2015.
