Obituary of Pauline Rae Groetzinger

Pauline Rae Groetzinger, age 82, a 23 year resident of Las Vegas, formerly of Claremont CA and Cincinnati OH, died Saturday, January 31, 2015. Pauline was born July 19, 1932 in Cincinnati OH to the late Max and the late Gladys (Goldman) Goldberg. Pauline spent her early adult years raising her family and then worked as a bank teller, serving VIP clients for Bank of America. She enjoyed playing mahjong and dancing and was a member of the Sun City Summerlin Dance Club. She was also a member of Temple Bet Knesset Bamidbar. However her true joy was spending time with her family, friends and Jackpot, her dog. Pauline is survived by her husband of 65 years, Eric Groetzinger; children Debra (Steve) Wilhelmi of San Dimas, CA, Judy (Fred) DeKalb of Ben Lomand, CA, Rodney (Casey) Groetzinger of Upland, CA and Richard Groetzinger of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren Danielle Silva, Amy (Travis) Evans, Leah Dekalb, Rachael Groetzinger and Emily Groetzinger; great grandchildren Ashley and Alyssa Silva and Lucas Evans; siblings Carol Carter and Dr. Robert (Verna) Goldberg; and sister in law Margo Weiser. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, 21300 E. Via Verde, Covina , CA. Contributions in Pauline's memory may be made to Nathan Adelson Hospice or the American Cancer Society. .
