Obituary of Judith Marie Cummings

JUDITH MARIE CUMMINGS, age 73, of Las Vegas, NV, died Friday, January 16, 2015. Judy was born April 11, 1941 in Mason City, IA to Robert L. Thompson and Selenda J. (Wilkinson) Thompson, the oldest of 3 girls. She moved to Las Vegas in 1973. Judith and her late husband, Art, were partners in Sooner Motors in North Las Vegas 1989-1998. Judy was an avid bowler and handi-crafter. At the time of her death, Judy had a business completing automotive title transfers for several auto dealers around the valley. Judith was preceded in death by both parents and her husband, Arthur Cummings. She is survived by her daughters Lisa Christensen of Indianapolis, IN and Wilma Hanson-McCoy (Floyd) of Lincoln, NE; her companion, Rick De Chellis; her sisters SFC Dixie Thompson, US Army Retired and SallyJo (Thompson) Osborn, both of Las Vegas, NV; two step-granddaughters, six step-grandchildren, one niece, three nephews and seven great-nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 22 at 1 pm at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Home, 3975 South Durango Drive, Suite 104, Las Vegas, NV 89147.
