Obituary of H. Leon Simon

H. Leon Simon, age 76, passed away on January 6, 2015 in Las Vegas, NV. He was born March 21, 1938 in Illinois. Leon earned his law degree from the University of Illinois in 1968. He then worked as a public defender and served as a Juvenile Courts Referee before joining the Clark County District Attorney’s office in 1972. He left the District Attorney’s office after seven years to work at the Nevada Attorney General’s office. In his free time, Leon was an avid fisherman who loved going to fish at Eagle Valley. He also enjoyed the outdoors and going to the shooting range. Leon is survived by his wife Adrienne Simon; children Harrison Simon, Myra Simon, and Amber Simon Mealy; and grand children Peyton and Dylan Mealy.
