Ellen and family,
I just now learned of Paul's passing 1 ½ years ago. What a deep sadness I feel! He was a 30+ year friend who always gave his very best. I will be grieving for some time. We had many wonderful times as friends, colleagues, and business associates.
Life!

I was so saddened to hear of the loss of your Dad. I know how much you will miss him.
I just knew your father had to be a very special and unique person to

It is a wondrous achievement to make an impact on the lives of others over a lifetime. It is startling when a significant impression is made in a brief time span. Such was the power of Paul Bodner. I only met him a few months ago. He was the teacher of a small group of us in a writing class that he had volunteered to give at The Caring Place, even in the face of his disease. I'm trying to remember how many sessions we had, but they were too few in a so short span of weeks. Nonetheless, such was his gift that he imparted priceless lessons in the writing craft, commingled with his wonderful humanity. He also gave vital encouragement. I can scarcely begin to express how much his teaching and his encouragement meant to me. He made an indelible impression and I shall continue to act on those encounters in ways that have already changed my life. I shall never forget Paul Bodner.

I first met Paul when he interviewed me for a position at Eternity Medical Institute.I had been an MD for over 30 years but I yearned to do something in the Arts.
I was so impressed with this kind, funny and brilliant man from the get go.-- We spoke for several hours. His books and his positive point of view have been inspirations for me till this day.Every time I was in the Coffee Pub would look at his MR lemonade photo and smile... Paul encouraged me to be bold and go for what I really wanted... I am currently in the process of writing my second book and I owe the majority of this to Paul Bodner..
I am shocked and saddened to hear of his passing and send my deepest condolences to his family
This man was one of a kind and the wold will miss him greatly.

I am so sorry for the loss of Paul. I met Paul a little more than a decade ago and he was a delight. Always a fun guy, he was also a tremendous Israel supporter. After he became ill, I was struck by his optimism and the fact that he really did not change from the upbeat and often funny guy he was.

Matching pajamas... matching hysterical happiness... as two old friends (48 years worth of best friendship) wrestle as if they were still back in College Park, Maryland at the University of Maryland where they met. Paul Bodner was a very special man who touched the lives of so many. He will be missed. He will be remembered. I love my friend dearly. God bless his family and his memory. Ira

Grandpa Paul to my granddaughter Emma was a special person to my family. He was instrumental in helping get the NF Hope benefit up and running. I didn't know him well but I so appreciate his spirit and for giving so much to Emma, Jeff, and Melody. He will be missed in life but his spirit will live on through our hearts and through NF Hope. May Paul rest in peace. My sincere condolences to his wife Ellen and his family.

My heart goes out to your family. I am so sorry for your loss. What pain hurts worse than the pain of losing someone that you love? Paul was loved and he will be dearly missed. Again, I am so sorry. Though the pain you're feeling must seem unbearable, please remember that you are not alone. Psalms 46:1 says, "God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress." Pray to Him for strength. Weep to Him when there are no words. One of the poets of the Bible said at Psalms 56:8, "You keep track of my wandering. Do collect my tears in your skin bottle." You see, God understands your pain and He cares for you very much (1 Peter 5:7). And He will really help you get through this difficult time (Isaiah 41:10).

Dear Ellen, Zack , Gabe, Ronit, and Tamara.
First of all, we want to tell you how sorry we are to hear of Pau'ls passing. He fought a valiant battle for a very long time. He was a very special man and we will always think of him as the lemonade man. His obituary is also special and shows what a wonderful life he led.
We've had some really bad things in our lives the last few years and his writing and courage was a true inspiration to us. He helped us and many others with his strength and positive attitude to go forward, no matter what.
May his memory be a blessing for you and all of us.
With love and compassion for your loss,

Dear Ellen & the Bodner Family,
I'm so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. Just a few months ago, I saw Paul at Bagel Cafe and he reminded me of our Teaneck, NJ connection. He was a dear, wonderful man - I will treasure our Coffee Bean get-togethers just to chat. I will always be grateful to him for opening my eyes to AIPAC and all he did for the Jewish community in Las Vegas. He was a good one and I, as well as many others, will miss him.
With sympathy,
Hillary and Brian Steinberg
