Obituary of Sidney Victor Levine

Sidney Victor Levine, age 96, of Henderson, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2014. Sidney was born September 29, 1918 in Bronx, NY to the late Abraham and the late Jennie (Mandel) Levine. After graduating high school, Sidney worked for his father in the garment industry. He served in the Army during World War II. After returning home from his military service, Sidney worked as a salesman for Sears, then for the US Post Office. Sidney enjoyed dancing and was a member of the Sun City Anthem Chavurah and Veteran's Club. Sidney is survived by his wife of 68 years, Victoria Levine; children Joel (Linda) Levine of Laguna Niguel CA and Felicia Ann Levine of Las Vegas; grandchildren Bryan Levine, Aaron Levine, Elizabeth (David) Bejara, Anna Sommo, Lucy (Jean) Sommo and Thomas Sommo; and great grandchildren Hannah, Samantha, Grace and Haley Levine. A graveside service will take place at 11 AM on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Eden Memorial Park in Los Angeles. Contributions in Sidney's memory may be made to the Jewish War Veterans
