Obituary of Esteban Gaetos Friera

Esteban Gaetos "Steve" Friera, M.D., 88, formerly of Malate, Philippines and Las Vegas, Nevada died on October 26, 2014. Steve was born on April 25, 1926 in Malate, Philippines to Guillermo Friera and Isabel Gaetos with 8 siblings. He attended Far Eastern University to become a doctor. He practiced medicine for family practices and as a surgeon in the United States. He also served in the army as a Lieutenant Colonel. He was survived by his wife Nelda Friera; his 9 children Ricardo, Reynaldo, Rodolfo, Roberto, Denise, Elena, Steve, Ysabel and Mathew. Steve was very funny, generous and smarty son, friend and parent. He was a person who lived to travel. Inspired by his dream, he pursued a career in medicine to help those around him which created memorable changes in the community he lived in. He will be greatly missed. A memorial service organized by Kraft Sussman will be held at 3975 South Durango Suite 104 Las Vegas, NV 89147 on Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 1 to 4 p.m. We invite any loved ones to join us in the viewing and memorial services.
