Obituary of Laura Joan Asplund

Laura Joan Asplund, 42, of Las Vegas, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2014. Laura was born July 3, 1972 in Evanston, IL. She enjoyed baking cookies, cupcakes and anything she could think of. Laura is survived by her husband Gary Kasufkin of Las Vegas; parents George and Dorothy Asplund of Las Vegas; siblings Dee (Casey) Moore of Chicago, Chris (Julie) Witt of Chicago and Suzanne (Richard) Roman of Las Vegas; best friend and step-daughter Alison Kasufkin of Las Vegas; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 24, 2014 at Bunkers Memory Gardens Cemetery, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road, Las Vegas, NV.
