Obituary of Thomas "Tom" John Nesmith

Thomas John Nesmith, age 74, of Las Vegas, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014. Tom was born March 28, 1940, in Lacrosse, Wisconsin to Newton and Josephine Nesmith. He was an educator and educational administrator for 40 years. Tom was the past president of the Hope Chaplains, former elder of Calvary Chapel of Spring Valley, former member of Nevada Concerned Citizens, and a former member of Family Life Ministries. He was also a life member of the American Bridge Association and loved games and sports. Tom is survived by his wife, Kay Nesmith; daughters Jennifer (Nolan) Koon of Charlottesville VA and Kathleen (Ron) Westerfield of St. John IN; granddaughters Pristina, Maisie and Emma; siblings Dr. Josephine Dawson of Chicago IL and George (Anne) Nesmith of Lacey WA; one nephew and several nieces and many friends.
