Obituary of Joyce Richardson

Joyce Richardson, a 37 year resident of Las Vegas, passed on Monday, September 8, 2014 at the age of 76. Joyce was born June 7, 1938 in St. Johns, Antigua. She is the daughter of the late Dennis Winston and Eunice Marcella (Flax) O'Neal. Joyce was married to Charles Merrill Richardson. She is survived by her sister Annette Scantlebury of Las Vegas, Nevada; brother Kenneth Derry O'Neal of St. Thomas Virgin Islands; her step-children Charles Norman Richardson of Texas, Toni Richardson of New York, and daughter in law Lennie Richardson of Texas. Joyce's nieces and nephews include Cynthia Denise Scantlebury, Maria Wallace, Jeffrey Canton, Glen Testamark, Kenneth O'Neal, Derrick O'Neal, Marcella O'Neal, Dennis O'Neal and Lisa Testamark; and three grandchildren Norman Richardson, Ebony Santos and Amber Richardson along with various great nieces and nephews. Before moving to Las Vegas, Joyce was employed as a Legal Secretary in New York. She worked in the hotel industry in Las Vegas and at the Nevada Test Site. Joyce was an avid bowler who loved needlework and various crafts.
