I competed against both Bruce and Lee growing up in Oak Park and was fortunate enough to play with Bruce one season for Berkley American Legion. I have never played with anyone who hit a baseball on the sweet spot more consistently than Bruce. He was two years younger, but many years ahead of me in composure and maturity as a ball player. I can only imagine the impact he had on other young ball players coming up through the minor leagues as well as being a good friend and brother. Jay Nowland

I was unable to attend the services due to the birth of my daughter at any time, but I wanted to reach out & pass along my deepest condolences & well wishes. Bruce helped me out in a lot of ways, both professionally & personally. He was quick to lend an ear & never hesitated to steer me in the right direction. I learned a great deal from him. He was extremely good to me & so many others around baseball. He was a great scout & even better man.

To Erika & the Seid family,
My first meeting of Bruce was when I went to a Brewer's game with his wife...my dearest friend Erika. Bruce was very busy at the time, because they were working on the drafts. He came down from his office to say "Hi" to us. With our first handshake I could tell that he was a kind & caring person. That day, he took time out of his crazy busy schedule to show me the behind the scenes areas of the stadium. You know, the offices were all the big decisions are made. I was in awe after coming home from the game that night. For Bruce, it was just another day at the office. For me…well, in the forty plus years of living in WI, Bruce gave me the bragging rights to share with my friends that I got a personal tour from the Brewer's Scouting Director. What a great guy!! I will always remember that day.
Thank you Erika & Bruce for being such wonderful friends.
May all of your joyful memories of Bruce bring you peace and comfort during this difficult time.

To Erika & the Seid family-
When the Lord calls our loved ones home, He leaves a gift of memories in exchange.
May the happy memories carry you through this sorrowful time.
I will always remember Bruce as a kind, softspoken, gentle man with a great shiny head & bright smile.
