Obituary of Jean Rae Punelli

Jean Rae Punelli, 75, left her place on this earth to begin her journey into eternal life on August 15, 2014. Jean was born April 17,1939 in Watertown, South Dakota The daughter of Ervin and Gladys Johnson. Jean was a kind and gentle person who loved spending time with family and friends. All who knew her, loved and adored her. Jean was a devoted wife and Mother. She was an extraordinary business woman whom, with her husband, owned their own business's for many years. Jean was loved and respected in the community, by her customers and employees while operating the Feed and Tack store Horse N Around. She lived life to the fullest, was passionate about golf and football, traveled the world and visited many of places which most of us only dream about. Jean did not let the grass grow under her feet and never missed an opportunity to try new adventures. She loved to sit down and talk to everyone about everything (unless there was a football or golf game on.) Jean is survived by her husband Chuck Punelli of 53 years, whom she had a collaborative and caring relationship that was based on mutual support and a deep love for each other. Her devoted daughter, Valerie Punelli was the pride and joy of Jean's life. The legacy of Jean's kind spirit, passion for sports, love of animals, and zest for life will live on through her daughter. Her loving Sisters Joyce Carey and Penne Indelicato both of Iowa, as well as several very special nieces and nephews that she loved as if they were her own children. She was a Best Friend, loving wife and exceptional sister, an adored Aunt and most importantly a Mother. Our angel that Lived, Laughed, and Loved is gone from our home but never our hearts. At this time the family is requesting a private cremation. A celebration of Jean's life will be held Saturday, September 13, 2014 from 2pm to 7pm at 8128 Marin Pointe Ave., Las Vegas NV 89132
