Obituary of Leo Fantasia

Las Vegas resident Leo Fantasia 89 passed away at home from heart failure on August 8, 2014 at 8:35 am. Born in Italy, Leo came to the United States at the age of 3 with his parents Geremia and Sara Rosa Fantasia and was raised in New Hampshire and Massachusetts along with his brother Eddie and sister Diane. As a young man he pursued a number of career paths before becoming a boiler inspector and working for the Home Insurance Company for over 20 years. Known for his clever wit and independent spirit Leo moved to Nevada from Wakefield, Massachusetts in September, 2001 to escape the cold winters. He is survived by Harriet, his wife of 63 years, his daughter Patricia and her fiancé Jeff Grinstein.
