Obituary of Joseph Overman

Joseph D. Overman was born in Urbana-Champaign, Illinois February 23, 1918. He was educated in the Urbana, Illinois public schools, the University of Illinois where he received a B.A. degree with a chemistry major and the University of Rochester where he received a Ph.D. degree in physical chemistry. He belonged to the American Chemical Society and to the Society for Imaging Science and Technology. He was a member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Wilmington, DE and the Desert Springs United Methodist Church in Las Vegas, NV. He is survived by his wife Mary Louise, and children Judith A., Nancy L., Ralph G. and Douglas S. and 4 grandsons Robin, Michael, and Erick Lundgren and Michael Polhemus. A burial will be private.
