Obituary of Francine Edith Rosen

Francine Edith Rosen, 70, of Las Vegas, passed away on August 3, 2014. Francine was born February 12, 1944 in the Bronx, NY to the late Max and the late Pauline Pretner. She went to college as an adult, earning her B.A. in education in 1992, then went on to teach middle school, retiring in June from Swainston Middle School in Las Vegas. Francine was passionate about politics, an avid supporter of Israel, and loved teaching. She is survived by her children Kim (Garrett) Forni of Las Vegas and Peter Rosen of San Diego; grandchildren Emily and Rachel Forni of Las Vegas; and brother Lee Pretner of Las Vegas. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Bunkers Memory Gardens Cemetery, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road, Las Vegas, NV. Contributions in Francine's memory may be made to the Jewish National Fund. . .
