Obituary of Rose M Scalleat

Rose M Scalleat, 93, of Las Vegas and formerly of Lauderdale by the Sea FL and Hazleton PA, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2014. Rose was born March 22, 1921 in Hazleton, PA to the late Anthony and the late Theresa Evangelista. She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Albert M Scalleat; sons Michael Scalleat and Albert (Maryanne) Scalleat; and grandchildren Lori Scalleat and Albert Scariati, all of Las Vegas and Dennis Scalleat of PA. The last survivor of the Evangelista family, Rose is predeceased by her 12 siblings. A memorial mass will be held at St. Joseph Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W Sahara Ave., Las Vegas 89117, at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 17, 2014.
