Obituary of Johnnie Francis Walton

Johnnie Francis Walton, 37, originally from Las Vegas, NV, passed away on June 4, 2014. Johnnie was born December 22, 1976 in Las Vegas, NV to John Patrick Walton and Barbara Lynn Walton. He graduated in 1995 from Washoe High School in Reno, NV. Johnnie joined the Coast Guard in 2001. He was a Petty Officer, Second Class in the United States Coast Guard. He has lived in Las Vegas, NV, Reno, NV, Maui, HI, Oahu, HI, Port Huron, Michigan and New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Johnnie married Jennifer Leah Walton November 25, 2009. Johnnie loved to surf, listen to music and attend concerts, read and cook. Johnnie is survived by his wife Jennifer Leah Walton, his 3 children Alyssa Ann Cornette (age 10), Bradley William Cornette (age 8) and Jack Tyler Walton (age 5), dog Leroy Brown, his grandmother, Maureen Evelyn Walton, his father, John Patrick Walton, his sister, Sonja Ann Wagner and brother in law, Kevin Scott Wagner. Johnnie had a great sense of humor, an easy laugh and a big heart. He was very proud of his family and a loyal friend and patriot. Services will be held on Friday, June 13, 2014. Catholic Mass will be at 10:30 AM at Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive, Las Vegas, Nevada 89125 USA Military Funeral will be at 1:30 PM at Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd, Boulder City, NV 89005
