Obituary of Mitchell Charles Sloves

Mitchell Charles Sloves, 66, an 11 year resident of Henderson, passed away Friday, April 4, 2014. Mitchell was born August 17, 1947 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Irwin and the late Betty (Kagan) Sloves. He worked as a stockbroker on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange for over 30 years. After retiring to Las Vegas, he worked as a cashier at Trader Joe's. Mitchell is survived by his wife of 43 years, Marcelle Sloves; children Harlan (Pamela) Sloves of Merrick Long Island NY and Jared (Lisa) Sloves of Massapequa Park NY; grandchildren Matthew, Alex, Skylar and Maxwell; and siblings Tyler Sloves of Wantagh Long Island and Lisa (Mike) Ricca of Brooklyn NY. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services, 3975 S. Durango Drive, Suite 104, Las Vegas, NV 89147.
