Obituary of Beverly Joan Ray

Beverly J. Ray, age 87, passed away March 28, 2014 of congestive heart failure. She is survived by her six children: Kathleen Anastasia, James Sherry, Patricia Phillips, Sheila Sherry, Mary Boynton and Matthew Sherry, twelve grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Beverly was born June 22, 1926 and raised in Touchet, WA. She was the daughter of John and Myrtle McDonald and sister of Patricia Peterson. She attended Whitman College, and shortly after met Earl J. Sherry. They married in 1947 and raised six children. They were wheat farmers in the Prescott area for over twenty years. She later married Stanley Ray, and moved to Salem, OR. After her death, Beverly moved to Las Vegas, NV with her daughter Sheila, where she lived the remainder of her life. Beverly devoted herself to her family and beloved pets. She pursued her passion for cooking to her very last day.
