Obituary of Gerri Charlene Mintzer

Gerri Charlene Mintzer, age 53, of Las Vegas, passed Sunday, March 16, 2014. Gerri was born November 20, 1960 in Manhattan, NY to the late Harvey and the late Lucille (Abelson) Mintzer. Gerri was a very unique and loving person. In her 25 years as a clinician, she touched countless lives, and helped others to not only help themselves, but to grow and enjoy their lives. Gerri spent the majority of her life treating, and advocating for people with mental health challenges. Tigers were her passion. She volunteered at Keeper's of the Wild and was an avid supporter of Big Cat Rescue.org. She is survived by her husband Bruce; sister Susan; brother Scotty; nephews Matthew, Michael, Edward, David, Seth, and Joshua; nieces Loren and Sarah.
