Obituary of Sophie Marie Fogelman

Sophie Marie Fogelman, 92, of Las Vegas, passed away February 1, 2014. Sophie was born July 12, 1921 in Toronto Canada to the late Meyer and the late Sarah (Goldstein) Gordon. Her family moved to Detroit when she was a young girl. She met her husband William there and raised their two sons. Sophie worked for the city of Detroit. She and Bill retired to Sun City Summerlin. Sophie was a member of Bet Knesset Bamidbar and the Red Hat Society; above all, Sophie loved her family. She is survived by her sons Gerald (Janet) Fogelman of Encino CA and Roy (Barbara) Fogelman of Henderson NV; grandchildren Michael (Karen) Fogelman and Deborah Fogelman of Los Angeles; and great grandson Noah Fogelman. She is predeceased by her husband of 65 years William Fogelman and daughter in law Tammy Fogelman. Services were held at Eden Memorial Park in Mission Hills CA.
