Obituary of Susan Brittan Ripkin

Susan Brittan Ripkin, age 83, a 23 year resident of Las Vegas, passed away Monday, January 27, 2014. Susan was born November 27, 1930 in New York, NY. She was adopted by the late Sidney and the late Adelaide (Brittan) Krim. Susan owned a knitting store in NY. She loved to play poker, bingo and the slots. Susan is survived by children Stephen (Liz) Lyon of San Diego CA, Mark Lyon of Williams OR , Sandra (Neil) Lasher of Dix Hills NY , Douglas (Cindy) Ripkin of Cleveland OH, Sharon Ripkin of Atlantic Highlands NJ, , and; and her grandchildren Rick (Danielle) Lasher, Renee (Leigh Rust) Lasher, Leonardo Lyon, David Ripkin, Samantha Ripkin and Nikki Ripkin. She is predeceased by husband of 41 years, Solon Ripkin. The funeral will be held at 8:00 am on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV. Contributions in Susan's memory may be made to a nonprofit which cares for animals.
