Obituary of Wallace Volney Eggleston

Wallace Volney Eggleston, Jr, 74, of Mohave Valley AZ and Indian Hills CO, passed away January 11, 2014 in Las Vegas NV. Wallace was born February 28, 1939 in Salida CO to the late Dorothy and the late Wallace Eggleston, Sr. Wally served in the Navy for 4 years, then had a career as a carpenter. He enjoyed fishing, John Wayne westerns and football. Wally is survived by his son Micah (Pam) Eggleston; grandchildren Nikki (Michael) Jackson, Matthew Eggleston, Nicole (Ruben) Cano, Joshua Eggleston, Holly (James) Tafoya, Joseph Hahn, Corey Eggleston Jr, Caleb Eggleston and Laura Eggleston; great grandchildren Isaac, Lilly, Quentin, Landen, Amora and Jamie; and siblings Arthur (Carol) Eggleston, Leonard (Kay) Eggleston. He is predeceased by his son Corey (Vicky) Eggleston; parents Wallace V Sr and Dorothy Eggleston and sister Dorothy Ann Bernhardt. Contributions in Wally's memory may made to Camp IdRaHaJe in Bailey or/and Denver Rescue Mission. A funeral service will take place at 9:30 AM on Monday, January 21, 2014 at Horan And McConaty Funeral Home, 3101 S. Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood CO 80227, followed by burial at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
