Obituary of Martin William Abrams

Martin William Abrams, 75, of Las Vegas, passed away January 13, 2014. Martin was born January 29, 1938 in Buffalo NY to the late Leo and the late Goldie (Nowak) Abramowitz. He served in the US Army and then had a career in education, working as a special education and high school teacher for New York state corrections and an administrator for the Developmental Center in the Adirondacks. Martin is survived by his wife Frances Abrams; sons David (Susanna) Abrams of Las Vegas and Lawrence (Stacy) Abrams of Cherry Hill NJ; and grandchildren Sofia, Jonathan, Hannah and Robert . A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on January 14, 2014 at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services, 3975 S. Durango Drive, Suite 104, Las Vegas, NV. Burial will be at the Veteran's Cemetery in Boulder City NV. Contributions in Martin's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
