Obituary of Carmen Olga Narvaez
Carmen Olga Rosado-Narvaez, 78, of Las Vegas, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013. Carmen was born January 9, 1935 in Arecibo Puerto Rico to the late Andres and the late Carmen Pilar (Abraham) Rosado. She moved to Queens NY, where she was raised. Carmen received her BA in Library Science and worked at the University at El Paso for 22 years. Carmen is survived by her children Yvonne Narvaez of El Paso, Thomas Narvaez Juneau AK and Joanne (Don) McCollum of Las Vegas; grandchildren Thomas Narvaez III, Marcus Narvaez, Veronica Narvaez, Dawn McCollum, Elyse Narvaez and Cathy Bauer; and great grandchildren Margaret Narvaez, Miriam Narvaez, and Aiden Bauer and brothers Andres and Jelo (Anabelle) Rosado of Puerto Rico. She is predeceased by her son Michael Narvaez. A special Thank You to Hillside Manor; owner Adison Duran and staff Lea, Jomar and Rosa, who cared for Carmen, loved her and made her last 3 years safe, fun and eventful. Services are pending in El Paso.
