Obituary of Frances Leonforte

Frances M. (Fran) Leonforte, 67, of North Las Vegas, Nevada died November 30, 2013 at her home while under home hospice care. Born December 30, 1945, in Giradville, Pennsylvania, she was a 1964 graduate of Pottsville High School. In her early years Fran loved snow skiing; teaching lessons in Vermont and Australia prior to settling in Las Vegas to be closer to her family. Fran entered real estate after achieving success in the hotel and casino catering business at the Marina Casino and Alexis Park. She has enjoyed a successful realty business for better than 20 years; currently rated in the top 2% in the area. Fran was an exceptional individual that maintained lifelong friendships with many she first met when assisting them in finding that perfect home. She enjoyed sharing great food and wine with the friends she cultivated, making each feel truly special. Survivors include her brother Robert (Mary) Leonforte of Las Vegas. She was preceded in death by her parents Philamena and Frank Leonforte. A memorial service will be celebrated at 5pm, Thursday, December 19th at Kraft Sussman Funeral Services, 3975 S Durango Dr. Suite 104, Las Vegas, NV 89147. In lieu of flowers donation to Nathan Adelson Hospice is requested.
