Obituary of Elaine Kosbie

Elaine "Grandma Lanie" (nee Weinstein) Kosbie of Las Vegas, Nevada peacefully passed away on Friday, November 15, 2013. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 6, 1941 to Phillip and Frances Weinstein. She was married on February 14, 1961 to James L. Kosbie who remains her loving valentine to this day. She loved to dance and was known to break out in a jitterbug when a favorite oldie came on. Her passion was her family and maintaining a household that held 4 generations at one time. Elaine is survived by her husband, Jim, and her sons Robert (and Gloria) Kosbie of Sausalito, CA and David (and Gretchen) Kosbie of Pittsburg, PA. She is also survived by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to American Cancer Society ( donate.cancer.org/index) A funeral service will be held at Kraft Sussman Funeral Services (3975 S Durango Dr #104, Las Vegas, NV 89147), on Monday, November 18, 2013 at 12 p.m.
