Obituary of Geraldine "Gerry" B Guerra

Geraldine "Gerry" B Guerra, age 77, a 13 year resident of Las Vegas, passed away Friday, November 8, 2013. Geraldine "Gerry" was born April 6, 1936 in Chicago, IL to the late Vito and the late Eugenia (Hoppe) Battista. Gerry began her career as an elementary school teacher, and then returned to school to become a registered nurse. She was a champion of women's rights. Gerry was also an avid golfer and quilter and a member of the Siena golf and sewing clubs. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Albert Guerra; daughter Christina (David) Phreaner of Santa Barbara; grandchildren Jason, Jenna and Jack; and brothers John (Arlene), James and Richard (Marguerite). Services are pending.
