I extend my sincere, belated condolences to Larry's wife Sue and their children for your loss of a great man with great integrity who's knowledge and sincere kindness extended to me will be greatly missed but NEVER forgotten!
Unfortunately I just found out about Larry's passing when his name crossed my mind and I started searching to see if I could find him on FB. Larry was my "Manager" , "Mentor" and friend in 1990 in Phoenix, Az where I worked for him at Bell Road Toyota and also when he invited me to follow him when he moved over to Scott Toyota. We shared a mutual respect and love for the game of golf as we shared the fellowship on those rare times we were able to get away from the dealership to enjoy a round of golf together. I'll never forget Larry's compassion when I was struggling living paycheck to paycheck on straight commission upon hearing that I was broke when my transmission had to be replaced on my old 1979 Cadillac in order for me to be able to commute to work he lent me some money for repairs which was greatly appreciated.
I wasn't a Christian at that time but shortly after I finally resigned I surrendered my life to become an active follower of Jesus Christ and now I just celebrated 17 years serving as a volunteer prison Minister and a "Christian Consumer Advocate" with a focus on consulting with car buyers to ensure they get a "Fair Deal" when they negotiate with some unscrupulous car dealers. Although we never actually talked about Larry's faith or church affiliation I sensed during my 1 year with him in both his speech and demeanor that Larry had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ so I know God had an assignment for Larry in Heaven where one day we'll meet again. May you Rest In Peace my dear old friend Larry Sinykin as you celebrate your eternal peace with God.
