Obituary of Peter Max Muller

Peter Max Muller, 88, of Las Vegas and formerly of Lodi CA, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2013. Peter was born August 28, 1925 in Stockton CA to the late Fritz and the late Clara (Ruff) Muller. He served in the Merchant Marines during World War II and then worked as an electrician for Pacific Coast Producers in Lodi. Peter was an active golfer, golfing almost every day for over 40 years, even making a few holes in one. He was a member of Woodbridge Golf and Country Club for many years. A devoted Christian, he was a long time member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. He adored his grandchildren and worked to connect them with each other. Peter is survived by his grandchildren Elizabeth (Chris) Gilbert of Cypress TX, Becky (Andrew) Leenheer of Albuquerque NM, Chris (Susan) Doherty of League City TX, Katie (Preston) Katrine of Panama City FL and MIchael (Jessica) Buchmiller of Las Vegas; great grandchildren Payton, Gracie, Ben, Jack, Kendrick, Krista and Paige; companion LaVerne Atkins of Las Vegas; and very close, longtime friends Al and Loraine Jonas of Las Vegas. He is predeceased by his wife Fern; all his children Timmy, Kenneth, Barbara and his siblings Francis, Sam, Eric and Mary Jane. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 20, 2013 at Cherokee Memorial Park, 13832 N. Cherokee Lane, Lodi, CA. .
