Obituary of Marla Sue Schellberg

Marla Sue Schellberg, 48, a 24-year resident of Las Vegas, died peacefully in her home on July 27, 2013. Marla was born June 11, 1965 in Lakewood, NJ to Elaine Harris and the late Herb Harris. She worked for Las Vegas Metro for 20 years, most recently as an accounting supervisor at Clark County Detention Center. Marla enjoyed watching sports, especially the Yankees, and cruising with her husband and best friends. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Peter Schellberg, daughter Melissa Schellberg, mother Elaine Harris and siblings Arthur Harris and Gail (Larry) Gelber. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 AM on Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013 at the Desert Vista Community Center, 10360 Sun City Blvd, 89134. Contributions in Marla's memory may be made to Susan G Komen. .
