Obituary of Paul Donald Gaffan

Paul D Gaffan, age 79, a 17 year resident of Las Vegas, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013. Paul was born June 11, 1934 in Brooklyn NY to the late Harry and the late Anna Gaffan. He was a 20 year veteran of the Air Force, serving in Korea and Vietnam. Paul enjoyed tennis and running and played for the Air Force Tennis Team. He also enjoyed travel, and traveled the world with the Air Force and for pleasure. After retirement, Paul worked as a locksmith. Paul is survived by his wife Renee Gaffan; daughters Carol Gaffan of Fairbanks AK and Juliet Gaffan of Albuquerque NM; brother Larry (Yumi) Gaffan of Kansas City MO; and granddaughters Nikkie and Shannon Hlad. The funeral will be held at 9:00 am on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services, 3975 S. Durango Drive, Suite 104, Las Vegas, NV 89147. Burial will follow at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Contributions in Paul's memory may be made to Nathan Adelson Hospice, www.nah.org. .
