Obituary of Robert Edward Gluck

Robert E Gluck, age 84, a 14 year resident of Las Vegas, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013. Bob was born August 30, 1928 in Chicago IL to the late Arthur and the late Lucille (Silverstein) Gluck. Bob served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict and later served in the Reserves, for a total of almost 38 years service. He earned his engineering degree from the University of Illinois and was Chief Water Engineer for the City of Chicago. A devoted family man and doting husband, Bob was a die-hard Chicago sports fan. He was a long-time Bears season ticket holder. A good day in baseball was when the Cubs would win and the Sox would lose. Bob is survived by his wife, Esther Gluck, children Barbara (Charles Bennett of Algonquin IL and Gary (Rochelle) Gluck of Woodland Hills CA; and grandchildren Adam and Rachel Gluck of Woodland Hills. A funeral service will be held at 10:40 AM on Friday, July 5, 2013 at the Southern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veteran's Memorial Drive in Boulder City, NV.
