Obituary of Arnold Roth

Arnold Roth, age 91, of Las Vegas, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013. Arnold was born May 5, 1922 in Manhattan NY to the late Isadore and the late Ida (Raskin) Roth. Arnold served in the Navy during World War II. He moved to Sacramento in 1965 and worked as an engineer at McClendon Air Force Base doing value engineering. Arnold was an active member of the Mosaic Law Congregation in Sacramento and regularly attended their daily minyan. He was the only Jewish member of the Interfaith Council of Sacramento for over 20 years. Arnold spoke conversational Yiddish, traveled extensively and was a member of the Democratic Central Committee of Northern California. He is survived by his children Michael (Melissa Huang) Roth of Riverside CA; Harry (Karen McClusky) Roth of Davis CA and Bruce (Robin) Roth of Las Vegas; grandchildren Rachel Roth, Heather McClusky, David Roth, Emily Warren Elizabeth Warren, Sarah Warren ; and brother George (Almut) Roth. A funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at the Home Of Peace Cemetery, 6200 Stockton Boulevard, Sacramento, CA.
