Obituary of Ron Steven Markowicz

Ron Steven Markowicz, age 41, of Las Vegas, passed away Friday, January 4th, 2013 . Ron was born December 3, 1971 in Los Angeles, CA to the late Dov Baer Markowicz and Czarna Roza "Rozalie" (Lewkowicz) Markowicz. Ron had a love of family, especially his 3 daughters; a passion for culinary arts,traveling and the Lakers. He managed several restaurants and taught at the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. Ron is survived by his wife Robyn (Barkan) Markowicz; children Ivy Devorah Markowicz, Shiloh Fynn Markowicz and Rachel Daniella Markowicz of Las Vegas; siblings Heidi (David) Harpaz of Tarzana, CA; David (Tally) Markowicz of Woodland Hills, CA; and mother Rozalie (Maurice Adari) Markowicz of Encino, CA. Contributions in Ron's memory may be made to Temple Beth Sholom Las Vegas, Rabbi's discretionary fund. A graveside service will be held 3:00 pm on Monday, January 7, 2013 at Palm Cemetery, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV. Shiva observance will be at the Markowicz Family Home.
