Obituary of Florence Sherman

Florence Sherman, born July 29, 1926 in the Bronx, N.Y., passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her family on December 15, 2012. Florence attended Hunter College in New York City. She relocated to Las Vegas with her family from Los Angeles in 1978. She is survived by her loving husband, of 65 years. Martin Sherman. She is also survived by her daughter, Debbi Gold of Henderson; by her son, Jeff Sherman of Van Nuys, Calif.; by her grandson, Doug Gold of Las Vegas; and by many nieces and nephews. Services were private. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in Las Vegas.
