Obituary of Dorothy Paul

Dorothy Paul, age 100, of Las Vegas, passed away Friday, November 16, 2012. Dorothy was born January 25, 1912 in Checiny, Poland to the late Joseph Mayer and the late Anna (Goldlust) Silver, formerly Zylberberg. Dorothy arrived with her mother and sisters in 1920 to join her father in Brooklyn NY. She married Herman Paul when she was 18 and they were together 48 years. She is survived by her children Stuart (Patricia) Barry Paul of Las Vegas, NV and Rhoda (Donald) Kantor of Bluffton SC; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Her sweet and loving spirit will be sorely missed by all who knew her. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Beth Moses Cemetery in W. Babylon, NY. Contributions in Dorothy's memory may be made to Senior Lifeline of the Jewish Federation of Las Vegas or Nathan Adelson Hospice.
