Obituary of Marla Jeanette Whitt

Marla Jeanette Whitt passed away at the age of 86 on January 9th, 2023, due to recent complications. Marla was born on December 21st, 1936, in Mason City, Iowa to Kenneth and Jeanette Mckee. She graduated from high school in 1954 and married Joseph (Jay) Whitt and then the family moved to Las Vegas in 1963. Marla was not only a fantastic mother of 3, she pursed her Real Estate license and worked for 25 years. She loved spending time with the family, cooking and shopping.

Jay and Marla had beautiful years and experiencing RVing in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Jay and Marla were married for 67 years. Marla is survived by daughters Kimberly, Kara, grandson Jeff, and great-grandson Dylan, several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and her mother, sisters, brother, husband, and son. We will always carry your memory in our hearts. May Jay and Marla’s heart be one again. Services are private per Marla’s request and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
