Obituary of Naomi Noemi Turok

Naomi Turok, age 87, of Las Vegas, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2012. Naomi was born April 22, 1925 London England to the late Jack and the late Caroline (Fisher) Polikoff. Naomi grew up in England during World War II. She went to Cape Town, South Africa to visit her brother after the war and ended up staying there. In Cape Town, Naomi met and married Sol Turok and raised her children. They moved to Los Angeles in 1990, then to Las Vegas in 1996. Naomi is survived by her children Darryl "Dax" (Arleen) Turok of Las Vegas and Laurence Turok of Las Vegas; brother Leon (Laura) Polikoff of San Francisco CA and grandchildren Brandon and Remi Turok. She is predeceased by Sol, her husband of 54 years. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, October 26, 2012 at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road, Las Vegas, NV.
