This human was AMAZING!! The best GM I have ever worked for. I was lucky to have him twice as my GM. A short time at another dealer and then when he came to Gaudin. I remember when the president of the company told me he was thinking about hiring him and I nearly fell out of my chair!! I couldn’t stop telling him how wonderful and professional he was and how he got shit done!! He taught me so much. He was incredible. Professional, funny, smart, caring, and loved every single one of his employees. Jimmy was hard and demanding, but yet a gentle soul who would tell you the truth and say I love you at the end of the same conversation.
You could always be upfront with him and he would be honest with you. The truth hurt sometimes, but it made me respect him even more. Jimmy truly was an amazing man. He has set the best example for all of us on how a business should be run. He showed us the way and now we can continue what he taught us. We love you and we will continue to make you proud. Rest easy Jimmy.

Jim was a joy to work for. I remember our few interactions well. He was dedicated, kind and had a great sense of humor. Our deepest condolences and prayers to his family and friends.

I think I spent my first 15 Christmas's with Jimmy. We always met at Grampa Ray and Grandma Edie's house in Wauwatosa, WI. Grampa handed out a lot of nicknames: Big Mike (Michael), Digger (Richard), John the Bomb (Johnny), Musty (David), Tony (Frank) and Cracker Jackers (Jack) and of course Jimmy. We all grew up together and had so many great memories. Christmas holidays, summer vacations at Lakewoods Lodge, swimming for hours in Lake Michigan or at Lakeshore Club. The fun and mischief never stopped when we were all together. I loved and cherished our time together. The earth lost a wonderful son on 09/29/2021 but heaven gained a true angel.

My deepest condolences, goes out to Brenda, Alex, Mike, Frank, and all of the rest of the family.
Jimbo was one of a kind. I don't know anyone that didn't like him. He could sweet talk a rock. I shared some of the best times of my life with Jim. I'll never forget the ski trips to Aspen with him, his brothers, and Art, yelling at us all. I've never had so much fun getting yelled at. What great memories. I'm gonna miss you Jimbo. You're A#1, brother. God bless your soul.
