Obituary of Albert "Bud" George Fischer

Albert "Bud" George Fischer, age 87, a 17 year resident of Las Vegas, died Thursday, September 20, 2012. Bud was born March 9, 1925 in Los Angeles CA to the late George Albert and the late Helen Alice (Larkin) Fischer. Bud served in the Army during World War II and fought on the beaches on D Day. While he was primarily a social worker, Bud also worked as an air conditioning installation and service manager. He enjoyed gardening and was loved by all who met him. Bud is survived by his sisters Catherine Hodges of San Jose CA and Barbara (Ralph) Montana of Pahrump NV; and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Bud's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services, 3975 S. Durango Dr. #104, Las Vegas, NV 89147. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 AM on October 3, 2012 at Santa Teresa Church, 794 Calero Ave in San Jose CA. Visitation will be held prior to mass beginning at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in San Jose. .
