Obituary of Beatrice Iskowitz

Beatrice Iskowitz, age 91, of North Las Vegas and formerly of Staten Island NY, died Sunday, September 16, 2012. Beatrice was born June 14, 1921 in New York, NY. She is the daughter of the late Harry and the late Sarah (Schechter) Bieder. Beatrice worked as a typist. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Jewish Community Center in Staten Island. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Irving Iskowitz of Las Vegas; children Francine (Charles) Barna of Las Vegas and Jay (Robin) Ives of Newtown CT; grandchildren Stacey (Michael) Domenic of Staten Island, Michael (Alison) Skolnick of Staten Island and Jadyn Ives of Newtown; and great grandchildren Cara Domenic, Austin Domenic and Brianna Skolnick. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday September 19, 2012 at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services, 3975 S. Durango Drive, #104, Las Vegas, NV, with burial at the Southern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, NV. Contributions in Beatrice's memory may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or Nathan Adelson Hospice.
