Obituary of Frances Augenblick

Frances Augenblick, age 92, of Menifee CA and formerly of Las Vegas NV, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2020. Fran was born in Brooklyn NY to the late Izador and the late Rebecca Goldstein. She was a homemaker and helped her husband Louis in his business "The Chocolate shop" in her younger years. Fran was a tournament bowler in her younger days. She enjoyed playing Mah Jong, and started dancing in retirement when she moved to Century Village in West Palm Beach Florida. She danced with the Century Village Repertory Group for 15 years until relocating to Sun City Aliante. There she continued dancing with the Sun City Steppers in Las Vegas NV. Fran loved performing, and danced and entertained audiences at hotels all over Las Vegas. She was the biggest supporter of her husband, Louis Augenblick, who served as Commander of the Jewish War Veterans. Fran will be buried with him at the Veterans Cemetery in Boulder City NV. Fran is survived by her daughter Michelle Brayley and her husband Dave Brayley; grandsons Dennis Patrick and William "Billy" Brayley; John, Michael,& Christina Brayley; and great grandchildren Alexandra, Trenton, Debi, Dillon and Allarae; her younger sister Adele of Florida; and 6 loving nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at noon on Monday, November 2, 2020 at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City NV. Charitable contributions may be sent to either Alzheimer's Research or Breast Cancer. .
