No words can express our surprise in Bob's passing. Bob was a friend for many years. He went to high school and college with Kevin. Then he was a groomsman in our wedding 39 years ago. Although distance separated us, our friendship and memories will live on forever. Bob was comical, Kind, intelligent and most of all, a devoted husband, father and friend. If he were here today, I'm sure he would say his greatest accomplishments were his marriage to Marie and his two daughters, Krystine and Jennifer. Even though God took him too soon, anyone who knew Bob should be happy for the times they had with him. Marie, cherish the past, but live the present and future like Bob would want you to. We will never forget you dear friend. Rest in peace.

It wasn't all that long ago when Bob, Marie, and Joey came to Florida and I spent the day with them at Epcot. I have great memories of that day and of Bob. He was a genuine, down-to-earth person, who was caring of everyone. I remember how many people he helped - it seemed that everytime I called and spoke to Marie and Bob, they were taking care of someone - reaching out with love and helping hands. Bob's deep love for his family was also very apparent and seen by all. My prayers are with them for strength and endurance during this time. Love Angela Kraus

Our most sincere condolences to Bob's family Marie, Joey, Krystine, Jennifer, and Arabella. Bob was always such a kind person and a great neighbor. Our families became friends back in 1978 and the Petrowski family soon became part of our family. I will always cherish the many Christmas holidays our families spent together. Bob, you will surely be missed.

Dad, you were the kind of man that others aspired to be. Selfless, loyal, and utterly devoted to your family. I have tried to follow your hard working mentality and vow to keep striving to continue to make you proud. I know you will always be with me and find comfort in that knowledge. Miss you.

Words can not express how sad I am to hear of Bob's passing. I've been fortunate enough to know Bob for over 30 years. The Petrowski's weren't just friends or neighbors, they were family. It's hard to think back to any one childhood memory without Bob, Marie and the girls being there. So many fun holidays, summers and even some impromptu trips at random hours to Connecticut. Just as these memories are still engrained in my head 30 years later, the memories of Bob too will last a lifetime - always with a smile, always with a witty comment. Bob, you are gone too soon, but will never be forgotten. Marie, Krystine & Jennifer... sending thoughts and prayers your way.

It is hard to know where to begin. Marie and I have been friends since we were 12. I was at the start of Bob's entry into Marie's life. He became my friend as well, very easily. If Marie is like a sister to me, then Bob was like a brother. I always enjoyed his sense of humor and mischievous sparkle in his eye. He was so comfortable to be around. I saw the love he had for his family. He was there if anyone needed him. He was there for the tough times and was a rock for Marie and the girls many times. I wish I could have seen him once more. He left too soon. He will be missed but he will live on in his children and grandchildren. He was lucky enough to have gotten to know his first grandchild. Hold onto the memories, ladies. They will bring you comfort and you will always feel his love surrounding you. Love to you all.

Words can't express the sadness that is in our hearts at this time. We've lost a very dear friend whom we've considered family for many years. Bob may be gone from us now, but he will never be forgotten. He'll always be remembered for the wonderful, humerous and caring person that he was.
Our hearts go out to Marie and the family. We hope and pray that eventually you will all be able to come to terms with the great shock and loss you've suffered and be able to go forward.
Bob, if there are any stethoscopes in heaven, you'll surely find a way to control the rain. Thanks for the laughs, the holidays and special occasions that we've all shared over the years. Who would have thought that the same guy who could always bring a smile to our faces, could bring so many tears to our eyes? We love you and will miss you.

I have such fond memories of Bob and there were so many, I can't just pick one. I was always treated with heart-warming kindness and a welcome feeling that warmed my heart each time I visited.
Lastly, I always had a Polish joke for him and he enjoyed each of them. Our hearts are broken for his family and his lovely wife. He was a genuinely good, kind person that was taken from this world much too soon. I will pray to God to give them strength to go on and I will pray for his soul.
With Much Love,
Rosemary & Ron Galiano

My dad was the greatest I could ever have asked for. I know no man as selfless and giving as he was. I am so grateful for all of the cherished memories. He took me on countless fishing trips, just the 2 of us, me and dad... He always found a way to make the problem at hand work out... He was always there when I hit my hardest moments of life to help me gain my strength back.... The happiness of the people he loved is what made him happy. I wouldn't be the person I am or aim to be without him and I can only look to be as amazing of a human as he was.
Thank you Dad for every selfless moment you gave. Thanks for helping me feel not so alone in the journey; I am so glad we had as many deep conversations as we did, so I know truly you understood. I know your love and will miss it directly, but you have an eternal place within my spirit and I will never, never, never forget your lessons and I will always know that you are with me. I do miss you so greatly right now though.... I know you are at peace and I am so glad for that. I love you and miss you forever Dad. I know if you could have chosen, you wouldn't have left like this either... It's just not the man you were.
