Obituary of James Elliott Quinn

James Elliott Quinn, 84, of Las Vegas transitioned Monday, February 13, 2012, at his Las Vegas home surrounded by family. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. Jim was born in Louisville, Kentucky on July 19, 1927. A 22 year Las Vegas resident and quintessential entrepreneur, Jim was not only a survivor but a legendary businessman who had the drive and courage to try many new ventures throughout his life. A charismatic and fun person with a sweet tooth, his most prized achievement was the love, adoration and admiration of his family, his friends, and the respect of acquaintances. With a keen mind, Jim touched the lives of all with whom he interacted, and he made a positive difference in this world each and every day. A beloved husband, father, and mentor, he is survived by his wife Judy; Son Ron & spouse Ken; Sons Todd, Jeff, James & Mark; Daughters Donna, Linda, & Heidi; Niece Jackie and Husband John; In-laws, Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Grand Nieces & Nephews.
